In February, Mr. Harrington announced his retirement as the principal of Tenino Elementary School at the end of this school year. The Tenino School District is deeply appreciative of all Mr. Harrington has done to support our students with 8 years of service. Mr. Harrington’s commitment to our students, district and community will leave a lasting and positive impact for years to come. We all wish Mr. Harrington the best as he enters this new and exciting chapter!
The Tenino School District is excited to share that Jennifer Van De Wege will be our next principal of Tenino Elementary School. Mrs. Van De Wege formerly served as an elementary assistant principal and principal in the Port Angeles School District and has most recently served as the Assistant Principal of Tenino High School. Mrs. Van De Wege shared: "I am grateful for the opportunity to join the TES community and the amazing things that are happening there. This new role allows me to continue to invest in the relationships I have created this year as the Assistant Principal at THS as well use my years of experience as an elementary school principal in Port Angeles.
