Movie Night - Friday December 13th
Did you know that we celebrate our awesome Parkside Award winners each week by sharing their names with our local newspaper, the Tenino Independent? If your child receives an award certificate at our assembly they will be in the Tenino Independent the following Wednesday.

Christmas Tree Lighting will be tomorrow night @ 6:00 p.m. in front of Valley View Health Center-273 E. Sussex Ave. This is a great event that brings our community together. THS Band & Choir will be there along with a visit from Santa. Don't miss the T90 Motorcycle Drill Team.
"Parksey the Elf" has found our new Book Vending Machine. He loves reading just as much as our students! Thanks for all of you that are supporting this machine with your gifts of new books. As you can see everyone loves it! #ParksideProud and #Read20MinutesADay
As you are out shopping this weekend, please don't forget about our students and families that might not be as fortunate as others. Food for our food drive can be turned in the next 3 weeks at Parkside. We are half-way to our goal. The general public can also donate. Thank you!

Student Success and Slipper Night was a huge success. Thank you students, parents, South Sound Reading Foundation, Tenino PTSA, and thank you staff for making this a fun and educational night for all involved.
Is your child missing a coat? Hat? or Gloves? If so please come check out our lost and found in the office ASAP. One thing we have found that really helps us get misplaced coats back to the rightful owner is having their initials written on the inside tag. Thanks for your help!

Congratulations to Mrs. Taylor. She has won a grant for more books for our Book Vending Machine through the Thurston County School Retirees' Association. Thank you retired educators for always giving back to the students of our region! Our kids will benefit from the books!

Parkside students are participating in the Annual Food Drive for the TENINO FOOD BANK. Our goal this year is 1000 items. The food drive will end on December 18th. Thank you in advance for helping our Tenino community. Donations may be turned into your child's teacher.
